Unemployment down thanks to good tax policy

Unemployment in Poland has dropped thanks to the government's well-weighed tax and development policy, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Friday in Olsztyn, northern Poland.

According to Morawiecki, the falling unemployment figures show that the government wants the country "to grow and not diminish."

"Falling unemployment didn't come from nowhere. It came from our honest tax policy, but also from our development policy. Because our policy is (...) for the country to grow and not diminish," Morawiecki said.

Morawiecki said his government's main aim was to give Poles a greater sense of security. "If I were to describe our policy in a nutshell (...), in the internal, national and external dimension, I'd say we want Poles to feel secure in three areas. (We want to - PAP) rebuild the security of families, the security of our cities and villages, our streets, and the security of our borders," Morawiecki declared.
