Management studies offered by the Leon Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) have found themselves among the best in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2019.

The ranking compares the 100 best masters in management (MiM) programmes run by universities all over the world. Its latest edition was published on Monday.

The course offered by the Kozminski University placed 42nd while another course it runs together with ESCP Europe Business School was fifth.

Two courses offered by the Warsaw School of Economics have also found themselves among the 100 best. Its management programme placed 58th, up from 59th last year, while the CEMS Master in Management, co-organised by SGH, moved up to eighth position from ninth.

The University of St Gallen from Switzerland tops the ranking. It is followed by HEC Paris. Essec Business School and London Business School placed third.

The rankings are calculated according to information collected from responses given by business schools and alumni, who answer questions regarding their professional career and salary. Data provided by schools are used to measure the diversity of teaching staff, board members and students according to gender and nationality as well as the international reach of the programme. International course experience and international mobility are two other significant criteria.
