A newly designed bus shelter that features a heated bench, economical lighting, hybrid power supply, and chargers for mobile devices has gone on show in Katowice.

Apart from its innovative character, the Wenus shelter from urban-friendly bus stop designers Budotechnika, is functional, cost-effective and environmentally friendly. 

The shelter has green ivy walls as well as a hybrid power supply, it can use both electricity from the power grid and energy generated thanks to its own solar panels. 

 As well as heated seats, the Wenus is also equipped with a vandal-proof multimedia screen which can display a variety of content at the same time, i.e. city information, advertising, date and time. Budotechnika

Also in the future, it will show the level of air pollution in the atmosphere. 

All the functions of the shelter can be controlled and managed remotely and it can be monitored for acts of vandalism.
