Satisfaction with the work of the Sejm, the Polish parliament’s lower house, has a fallen to one of its lowest levels this year, a new poll has found.

The CBOS survey also found little change in the satisfaction levels with the work of President Andrzej Duda and the Senate (the upper house).

"A slight drop in satisfaction with the work of the Sejm has made its current ratings among the weakest this year (along with January and February)," CBOS wrote. "Assessments of the Senate and the presidency of Andrzej Duda are consistent with last month. In the first case the assesment is generally negative and in the second fairly even."

According to the survey, only 22 percent of October's respondents assessed the activity of the Sejm as good (down 3 percentage points compared to September). Sixty-one percent of pollees viewed the work of the Sejm negatively (down 1 percentage point). The answer "difficult to say" was given by 17 percent (up 4 percentage points).

The CBOS survey was carried out from 3 to 13 October 2022 on a sample of 1,041 people (including 58.3 percent using the CAPI method, 26.1 percent - CATI and 15.6 percent - CAWI).
