Stoch, Konderla fly high in national ski-jump championship

Kamil Stoch and Nicole Konderla soared to victory on Thursday in the Polish men's and women's ski-jumping championship in the southern ski resort Zakopane.

Stoch topped the ranking with 313.3 points, ahead of Piotr Żyła on 308.2 points and Paweł Wąsek on 304.2 points.

Konderla scooped 173.2 points, while Kinga Rajda (162.9 pts) and Anna Twardosz (96.8 pts) took second and third.

The 20-year-old Konderla said after the competition that the championship was the first title in her career.
