Stats office: Foreign trade surplus exceeds EUR 0.4 bln in 2017

Poland's foreign trade surplus amounted to EUR 0.4 billion after December 2017, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced on Monday.

Exports equaled EUR 203.7 billion and were up 10.2 percent year on year, imports grew by 12.3 percent year on year to EUR 203.3 billion.

Expressed in U.S. dollars, the trade surplus measured USD 0.4 bln.

In 2016, Poland's foreign trade surplus amounted to EUR 4.76 billion.

Exports in 2016 measured EUR 183.63 billion and were up by 2.3 percent year on year, while imports grew by 0.9 percent year on year to EUR 178.87 billion.
