Singapore opens its market to Polish meat products and eggs - ministry

Singapore will open its market to Polish eggs and egg and meat products, the Agriculture Ministry said on Friday, citing the Singaporean veterinary services.

According to the ministry, the rules for access to the Singaporean market for poultry, pork and beef products, as well as egg based products, have been simplified.

Polish exports will be made possible thanks to the introduction of a pre-listing approval system for companies, including a list of steps firms should take in order to sell their products in Singapore.

The ministry also said that the intensification of works on access to the Singapore market has contributed to the fact that soon Polish producers of these products will be able to sell them in Singaporean. Currently, work is underway on agreeing appropriate models of health certificates, which will allow for exports to proceed, the ministry said.
