Since start of war in Ukraine almost 1.5 mln refugees have entered Poland
Since February 24, 1.43 million people have crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border into Poland, the Border Guard (SG) tweeted on Thursday morning.
The SG tweet also wrote that Border Guard officers carried out 141,000 border checks on people entering Ukraine from Poland.
On Wednesday 117,600 refugees from Ukraine crossed the border into Poland.
Thursday's figures from the Border Guard show that by 7 a.m. 22,000 people had already arrived in Poland from Ukraine.
