Shopping centre traffic high despite pandemic - poll

Polish shopping centres will see a high number of customers this year despite the toll being exacted by lockdown restrictions on retail, a leading real-estate company has reported.
According to CBRE, several million less customers will visit shopping centres, but one in two will continue to shop there.
CBRE noted that shopping centres will be the main destinations for Christmas shoppers, and it added that centre managers have been strict in observing pandemic regulations.
On Wednesday the prime minister's office announced that a government ordinance regulating the functioning of shopping centres over the coming months will probably be issued on Thursday. Under the new laws, from November 28 all shopping centre traders will be allowed to function as long as they comply with sanitary and personal limit rules.
One shopper will be allowed per 15 square metres in all stores.
