September's M3 money supply up - central bank
Poland’s M3 money supply grew in September 2019 by 9.4 percent year to date and by 0.4 percent month on month to PLN 1.51 trillion (EUR 353.63 billion), the National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced on Tuesday.
Household deposits grew by 6.1 percent year on year to the end of September and by 0.3 percent month on month to PLN 855.31 billion (EUR 200.31 billion). Corporate deposits grew by 0.2 percent year to date and by 0.6 percent month on month to PLN 287.87 billion (EUR 67.42 billion).
Loans in the household sector went up by 5.8 percent year to date and by 0.6 percent month on month to PLN 765.37 billion (EUR 179.24 billion), while loans in the corporate sector rose by 2.3 percent year to date and fell by 0.3 percent month on month to PLN 392.76 billion (EUR 91.9 billion).
