Security bureau hosts top-level coronavirus sitting

The president, prime minister, health minister and chief sanitary inspector will meet on Monday evening in the seat of the National Security Bureau (BBN) for a crisis sitting devoted to the spreading coronavirus.

The sitting was called by the president in face of the mounting incidence of coronavirus infections in Poland.

BBN head Paweł Soloch announced a sitting of the National Security Council (RBN) will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. He added that the sitting was aimed to update parliament on the coronavirus situation.

To date, 17 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Poland. In all, 467 suspected coronavirus patients are hospitalised countrywide, while 1,014 are quarantined and 7,110 are under medical surveillance.
