Ruling coalition maintains lead in opinion poll

Poland's ruling United Right coalition have maintained their 33-percent public backing in the latest CBOS poll.

The Polska 2050 movement of former presidential candidate Szymon Holownia suffered a 2-percentage-point (pps) decline in support to 17 percent, compared with the previous month, and third-placed Civic Coalition fell by 1 pps to 11 percent.

Support for the far-right Confederation Freedom and Independence party stood at 7 percent (up 1 pps) and The Left garnered 6-percent backing (up 2 pps).

The pro-agrarian Polish People's Party (PSL) with 2-percent support (unchanged) fell below the 5-percent required to win parliamentary seats.

CBOS conducted the survey in a mixed-mode procedure on a representative national sample of 1,154 Polish residents from March 1 to 11.
