Rome hosts seminar on Polish-Italian aerospace cooperation
The aviation and space sectors in Poland, opportunities for investment and cooperation, were the subjects raised during a Polish-Italian seminar in Rome on Thursday attended by government officials from both countries.
Welcoming participants to the seminar, which included many representatives of Italian aviation and space sector concerns as well as industrialists' organisations, Polish Ambassador to Italy Anna Maria Anders said that the Polish market in this economic branch is developing very dynamically. She noted that some 300 companies representing the sector employ around 3,000 staff.
Speaking of Polish-Italian relations, the ambassador said: "It gives me great satisfaction to emphasise that our cooperation to date in the field of aviation and space technology has brought significant results."
Among the attendees were Italy's Secretary of the Council of Ministers Riccardo Fraccaro and Polish Deputy Minister of development Robert Krzysztof Nowicki.
