Retail sales up by 2.0 pct y/y in June - Eurostat
Polish retail sales grew by 2.0 percent year on year in June 2020 after a 1.7-percent y/y increase in May. Month on month, retail sales rose by 3.3 percent, Eurostat, the EU's statistics agency, said on Wednesday.
In the euro zone, retail sales went up by 1.3 percent year on year and by 5.7 percent month on month in June.
Eurostat annual growth figures are working-day adjusted, while the monthly growth figures are also seasonally adjusted.
Eurostat data also include small companies which employ fewer than 10 people - in this case, small family shops - but exclude auto sales.
