Retail sales down in March - stats office
Poland's retail sales decreased in real terms by 7.3 percent year on year and went up by 14.0 percent month on month in March 2023, the Central Statistical Office said on Monday.
Economists polled by PAP expected March's retail sales to fall in real terms by 5.6 percent year on year and to rise by 15.9 percent month on month.
In current prices, retail sales increased by 4.8 percent year on year in March against an 8.5-percent expected rise.
