Retail sales down 1.3 pct y/y in June - stats office

Poland's retail sales decreased in real terms by 1.3 percent year on year and rose by 8.4 percent month on month in June 2020, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.


Economists polled by PAP expected June's retail sales to fall in real terms by 2.7 percent year on year and increase by 7.8 percent month on month.

In current prices, sales decreased by 1.9 percent year on year in June against a 3.5 percent expected decline.
