Record high support for Poland's EU membership - poll

The support for Poland's EU membership increased to 91 percent in March, 2019, the highest result on record, according to the latest poll conducted by the Centre for Public Opinion Research (CBOS).

CBOS's results show that support for EU membership has not decreased below 80 percent since 2014. In March, 2019, the acceptance of Poland's presence in the EU reached a record level of 91 percent. At present, only one in twenty (5 percent) respondents is against EU membership, the poll said.

The survey 'Current problems and events' (346) was conducted using the computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) technique on a representative sample of 982 adult residents of Poland on March 7-14.
