Public support for government rises - poll

Thirty-three percent of the Polish public are content with the work of the current government while 42 percent are dissatisfied, according to a poll by CBOS.

The result is a 3-percent increase in support for the government since November. The number of those unhappy with the government fell by 3 percent from the 45 percent seen last month.

Public assessment of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stood at 38 percent of respondents holding a positive view, up by 2 percent, while 48 percent were critical, down by 2 percent.

The study was carried out November 30-December 10, 2020, using the mixed-mode procedure on a representative sample of 1,052 adult Polish residents.
