President Duda, PM Morawiecki Poland's most trusted politicians - poll
Sixty-nine percent of Poles in a CBOS survey declared confidence in President Andrzej Duda, 57 percent in Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and 52 percent in Paweł Kukiz, the Kukiz'15 leader.
President Duda is distrusted by 20 percent of those polled. The percentage of Poles declaring trust in the president grew by 1 percentage point month on month, while the proportion of those distrusting the head of state went up by 2 percentage points.
Twenty-one percent of pollees voiced distrust in the prime minister, up by 1 percentage point month on month. Confidence in the prime minister fell by 2 percentage points.
Paweł Kukiz is distrusted by 20 percent of the respondents, while trust in the Kukiz'15 leader rose by 2 percentage points month on month.
Deputy PM Beata Szydło is trusted by 48 percent of those questioned, Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro by 45 percent and ruling Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jarosław Kaczyński by 41 percent.
The list of the country’s most distrusted politicians opens with opposition Civic Platform leader Grzegorz Schetyna, who is distrusted by 47 percent of those polled.
Szydło is distrusted by 35 percent of those queried, Ziobro by 34 percent and Jarosław Kaczyński by 42 percent.
CBOS carried out the face-to-face poll on a representative sample of 989 adult Poles on June 7-14.
