President Duda most trusted politician in Poland - poll

Sixty-four percent of Poles declared confidence in President Andrzej Duda in January, down = 3 percentage points from December while the proportion of people who voiced distrust stood at 23 percent, a survey by the CBOS pollster shows.

The following places are taken by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is trusted by 59 percent of Poles, and the Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, with 46 percent public trust.

The percentage of people who lacked confidence in the politicians stood at 24 percent and 35 percent, respectively.

Forty-five percent of respondents declared trust in ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, while 40 percent of people were of the opposite view.

CBOS conducted the face-to-face survey on a representative random sample of 1,016 adult respondents on January 9-16.
