When: 19 – 20.05.2018

Air Show website: http://www.poznanairshow.pl/en/
The unique air festival, the only one held on a civilian airfield, will include presentations of military and non-military aircrafts, 35 shows by solo pilots and groups, as well as meetings with the air crews. What’s more, this year’s edition of the Poznań Air Show will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising and the centenary of Poland regaining independence.
The audience will have a chance to observe the manoeuvres and drills performed by some of the best squadrons and groups from Poland and abroad, such as: the 3AT3 Formation Flying Team, Żelazny aerobatic team, 57 team and others. Still, the stars of the show are undoubtedly the representatives of NATO Tiger Meet, who will take some time off from their military exercises held in Polish airspace. Known for the tigers in their squadron’s crest, these units from Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Hungary and Spain are some of NATO’s finest. Flying F-16, Gripens, Eurofighter Typhoons and Mi-24s, they are certainly worth stretching your neck for.
Apart from the excitement of the high-speed physics-bending aerobatics, the Poznań Air Show organisers ensure a family atmosphere with an amusement park for the smallest children, food truck zones and ‘festival catering space’. Free of charge public transport will be available for those who purchase pre-sale tickets.
