Polish solutions to test European meteorological satellites

MetOp is a European space programme aimed at launching a series of meteorological satellites whose task is to provide weather-related data to monitor the climate and increase efficiency in weather forecasting. ESA

The last of eight Polish devices to be used for testing new-generation European meteorological satellites under the European Space Agency's (ESA) MetOp-SG programme were delivered to ESA in mid-August.

Solutions developed by Polish engineers from Astri Polska will allow to verify the proper functioning of the satellites' electronic systems.

Astri Polska specialises in the design and production of devices used under European space programmes and the design of services and applications based on satellite data.
