Polish prime minister meets German chancellor in Berlin

The head of the Polish government, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Tuesday morning.

After the meeting, Morawiecki expressed satisfaction that Poland has a good partner in Germany, adding that Germany is Poland's main trade partner and that Poland is becoming one of the key investment and political partners for Germany.

"I am glad that we have a good, solid partner in Germany who is our main trade partner while we are becoming a key investment, economic and of course political partner for Germany," Morawiecki said.

Morawiecki said the meeting was devoted, among others, to the question of protectionism as well as climate change.
