Polish president postpones annual defence briefing over virus

Due to the spreading coronavirus, President Andrzej Duda has decided to postpone the annual briefing of top Defence Ministry and armed forces officials, the National Security Bureau (BBN) announced on Wednesday.

The briefing was originally scheduled for Friday.

The annual meeting sums up the previous year and sets forth priorities for the next year. Apart from high representatives of the Defence Ministry and armed forces, it is also attended by the president, who is the supreme commander of the armed forces, and government and parliament officials.
