Polish president congratulates Joe Biden on successful campaign

Polish President Andrzej Duda has congratulated Joe Biden for running a successful presidential campaign and stated that Poland wanted to maintain a high-level of strategic partnership with the US.

"Congratulations to Joe Biden for a successful presidential campaign. As we await the nomination by the Electoral College, Poland is determined to upkeep high-level and high-quality PL-US strategic partnership for an even stronger alliance." President Duda wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Votes are still being counted in the US, but, according to mass media, the edge of Joe Biden is so significant that he could be sure of winning the number of Electoral College votes he needed to win the presidency. AP wrote on Sunday that Biden crossed the winning threshold of 270 Electoral College votes with a win in Pennsylvania.
