Polish PM congratulates US Ambassador on American Independence Day

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki posted on Twitter on Thursday a congratulatory message for US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher on the occasion of the US Independence Day.

"I wish you a very happy and blessed Independence Day. The Polish people share your joy and are celebrating with you. Happy 4th of July!" Morawiecki tweeted.

Americans celebrate the Independence Day on July 4, with 2019 marking the 243rd anniversary of the founding of the United States.

On July 4, 1776, delegates from 13 American colonies on the East Coast, which became the first states of the US, gathered in Philadelphia to adopt the Declaration of Independence and thus proclaim the US independence from Great Britain.
