Polish pharmaceutical market grows by 33.0 percent y/y in March

The value of Poland's pharmaceutical market grew by 30.0 pct y/y and by 23.3 pct m/m to PLN 4.13 bln (EUR 914,051 mln) in March, 2020, according to a report by pharmaceutical researcher PEX PharmaSequence.

The average Polish pharmacy recorded gross sales of PLN 301,000 (EUR 66,623) in March, 39.7 percent more year-on-year.

The average retail price of a drug amounted to PLN 21.5 (EUR 4.7) in March, down 2.4 pct from February and a 0.9-pct increase against March 2019.
