Polish pharmaceutical market down y/y, up m/m in June

The value of Poland's pharmaceutical market fell by 6.6 percent year on year in June 2020 and grew by 8.3 percent month on month to PLN 2.66 billion (EUR 591.1 million), according to a report by pharmaceutical researcher PEX PharmaSequence.

The average Polish pharmacy recorded gross sales of PLN 195,000 (EUR 43,300) in June 2020, down by 2.5 percent from June 2019.

The average retail price of a drug amounted to PLN 22.90 (EUR 5.10) in June 2020, up by 0.2 percent from May and by 6.9 percent year on year.
