Polish pavilion awarded at opening of London Design Biennale
A medal has been awarded for the Polish Pavilion at the London Design Biennale, Poland’s culture minister announced on social media on Friday.
Piotr Glinski, wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations to the team from the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (IAM) and to all the curators who prepared the pavilion."
IAM wrote on Facebook that "the topic of the installation this year concerned Ukraine and was an attempt to explore the processes and relations that emerge in times of crisis."
The institute added that the exhibits would be recycled into useable items and thus become "synonymous with security and the foundations of dialogue."
