Medics and other medical personnel will travel to Slovakia to help the country carry out Covid testing, the prime minister on Tuesday.

"Two hundred Polish doctors and representatives of medical services will go to Slovakia, where they will help in the Covid testing process,” wrote Mateusz Morawiecki. “I am glad that we can help our friends from Slovakia and the EU.”

Slovakia launched a national testing programme on January 18 which will last until January 27. Tests will be carried out in the border zone with Poland, the area with the largest Covid outbreaks.
