Polish, Lithuanian PMs sign strategic partnership agreement

The Polish and Lithuanian prime ministers, Mateusz Morawiecki and Saulius Skvernelis, signed a declaration during inter-governmental consultations on Thursday concerning a Polish-Lithuanian strategic partnership.
A timeframe was also signed in the PMs' presence on the implementation of a declaration on the education of the Polish minority in Lithuania and the Lithuanian minority in Poland. The declaration on the issue was signed in Warsaw on November 20, 2019.
A letter of intent was also signed between Polish rail operator PKP Intercity S.A. and UAB LTG Link concerning a project to connect Vilnius and Warsaw by rail.
A further contract was signed on a joint venture between Polish rail freight carrier PKP Cargo and Lithuania's AB LTG Cargo together with its Polish subsidiary LTG Cargo Polska concerning intermodal transport.
