Polish health minister favours scrapping some pandemic restrictions
Poland’s health minister has said he has recommended the prime minister to lift face-mask rules, and quarantine and self-isolation requirements from April.
Talking to the Radio Plus broadcaster on Thursday, Adam Niedzielski explained that the lack of an increase in the Covid burden on hospitals "opens up some space for further decisions related to masks."
"It is... the moment when we start to treat the coronavirus as one of the diseases that exist somewhere in our environment. They are, of course, still dangerous, but we have them increasingly under our control," Niedzielski said.
