Polish handball team wins against Uruguay in Egypt

Poland beat Uruguay 30:16 (14: 9) in the first match of the second round of the handball world championship in Egypt.

Next, Poland will play Hungary on Saturday (18.00) and Germany on Monday (20.30). Spain and Brazil are also playing in group I.

The top two teams from four six-team groups will advance to the quarter-finals on January 27. The teams from the Poland's group will play against teams from group III, made up of France, the six-time gold medallist of the World Cup, as well as Norway, Switzerland, Portugal, Iceland and Algeria.
