Polish GDP expected to fall by 3.2 pct 2020 - Fitch

The Fitch ratings agency on Monday maintained Poland's GDP growth forecast at -3.2. percent in 2020 and at 4.5 percent in 2021.

According to the forecast, Poland's GDP is to dive by 5.6 percent in the 2nd quarter, 5.0 percent in the 3rd quarter and 3.3 percent in the 4th quarter of 2020.

Individual consumption in 2020 is to drop by 5.6 percent and investments by 0.6 percent. End-of-the-year CPI is to stand at 2.6 percent.

Fitch also published its first forecast for 2022 according to which Poland's economy is to grow by 3.3 percent.

The agency forecasts world's GDP to fall by 4.6 percent in 2020.
