Polish flag carrier LOT cancels scheduled domestic, int'l flights

The airline PLL LOT has announced the suspension of international and domestic flights, owing to pandemic restrictions.

The airline has cancelled flights from Warsaw to Dusseldorf, Luxembourg, Milan and Vienna form January 25 to February 28, PAP was told.

LOT also suspended domestic flights to Katowice and Poznań from February 1 for a period of four weeks, the airline said in a statement.

In January and February, further restrictions on the number of connections will apply to routes from Warsaw to Vilnius, Zurich, Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Geneva, Bucharest and Sofia.

Flights from Warsaw to London Heathrow will take place three times a week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from January 22 until February 28 this year.

The national carrier added that until January 31, all persons flying to Poland from abroad must undergo a compulsory quarantine.
