Polish fashion retailer LLP closes last shop in Russia

The LLP clothing company, owners of the Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay brands, announced on Tuesday it has closed its last shop in Russia, having suspended operations there on March 4.

The company announced on its website that it had finalised operational activities related to the closure of its outlets in Russia and had closed the last of them on Tuesday.

On March 4, due to limitations imposed on Russia by the EU, LLP took the decision to suspend its activities there, including ceasing the development of its brands and halting deliveries of goods to Russia. The retailer also closed down all internet sales channels for its brands.

LLP is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on the WIG20 index as well as being part of the MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) Poland index. It sells its clothing on 25 markets through a network of over 2,500 outlets, distributing more than 259 million items of clothing a year on three continents. It employs 27,000 people in offices and shops in Poland, other European countries, Asia and Africa.
