Polish economy among most war-affected, Goldman Sachs warns

The Polish economy is among those most exposed to the harmful effects of Russia's war on Ukraine, mainly owing to its dependence on Russian fossil fuels, Goldman Sachs wrote in a report on the war's possible impact on other countries.
Similarly affected will be Turkey, Finland and Holland, Goldman Sachs wrote.
According to the report, importers from Russia and Ukraine will feel the economic effects of the war more than exporters to the two countries, which is most visible in the rising prices of Russian oil, gas and wheat.
"The countries of Central-East Europe..., Turkey and some western-European economies (Greece, Italy and Germany) are especially prone to feel the effects of the crisis," Goldman Sachs wrote.
