Polish bus maker to deliver new buses to Luxembourg

Polish bus maker Solaris Bus & Coach signed a contract for the purchase of five electric buses by Luxembourgian carrier Sales-Lentz. The buses are to be delivered next year.

Solaris announced that in-keeping with the contract, two 12 metre long buses will be delivered to Bascharage, Luxembourg, in March 2019. The remaining three, 18 metre, articulated buses will be delivered in June 2019.

The articulated buses ordered by Sales-Lentz will be powered by central traction engines. The vehicles can be charged by either the plug-in system or via a pantograph installed on the roof of the vehicles.
