Polish ambassador objects to CNN saying 'Poland’s concentration camps'

Poland's ambassador to the US has protested against the use of the term "Poland’s concentration camps" in a CNN report.

"Words matter," Marek Magierowski wrote on Twitter.

"Dear @CNN, There was no such thing as 'Poland’s concentration camps'," Magierowski said.

"Those were German Nazi camps in German-occupied Poland. You would not refer to Bucha as 'Ukraine's carnage' or to Srebrenica as 'Bosnia's massacre,' would you?," the Polish ambassador asked.

It was stated in the CNN report that six million Jews had been murdered during the Holocaust, including around 50 percent of them killed in "Polish concentration camps."
