Police, rioters clash during Independence March

Riots have broken out during Wednesday's Independence March through Warsaw. Police have intervened. The march marks Poland's Independence Day (Nov. 11).

Rioters are hurling firecrackers at buildings around central Warsaw's Charles de Gaulle Roundabout, police are reported to be using forcible means to calm the unrest.

Ambulance teams are aiding injury victims on Warsaw's Jerozolimskie Avenue, which is a part of the march's route.
