Poles win three medals in canoeing world championship in Poznań

Polish canoeists won three during the Saturday finals of the 2019 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup held in the western city of Poznań.

Silver went to the team of Michał Łubniewski and Arsen Śliwiński in the men's C2 500 metres competition (non-Olympic class).

The third place in the Olympic competition was taken by Marta Walczykiewicz (K1 200 m race) and Tomasz Kaczor (C1 1,000 m race).

Saturday afternoon will see the semi-finals of the 500 and 1,000 metre races while 14 finals are scheduled for Sunday.
