Poles capture gold medal at 2022 World Rowing Championships event

Poland won the gold medal in the men's quadruple sculls final at 2022 World Rowing Championships held in Racice, Czech Republic, on Saturday.

The Polish team of Dominik Czaja, Mateusz Biskup, Mirosław Ziętarski and Fabian Barański finished 0.89 seconds ahead of the team from Great Britain, which placed second.

Italy took third place to gain the bronze medal.
