Pole takes gold at World Cup track cycling event

Mateusz Rudyk won the sprint final at the Track World Cup competition in Milton, Canada. He defeated Frenchman Quentin Caleyron 2:0 in the final.

Rudyk, who had earlier secured victory in the overall World Cup classification, earned his third consecutive victory in this series of events. In December, he also won in Cambridge, New Zealand and Brisbane, Australia.
