Poland's unemployment rate at 3.0 pct in March - Eurostat
Poland's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate reached 3.0 percent in March 2020, unchanged from February, Eurostat, the EU's statistical office reported on Thursday.
The number of unemployed amounted to 512,000, against 503,000 in February.
According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland's unemployment fell to 5.4 percent in March 2020 from 5.5 percent in February.
The discrepancy between GUS and Eurostat figures results from the use of different methodologies.
The euro area (EA19) seasonally-adjusted unemployment grew to 7.4 percent in March 2020 from 7.3 percent in February.
The EU28 average unemployment rate in March 2020 went up to 6.6 percent from 6.5 percent in February.
