Poland's ski jumper wins World Cup Large Hill on Sunday
Dawid Kubacki of Poland won the World Cup Men's Individual Large Hill ski jumping competition in Predazzo, Italy, on Sunday.
Stefan Kraft of Austria placed second and Kamil Stoch of Poland was third.
On Saturday, Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi added a sixth straight ski jumping World Cup win in Italy. Dawid Kubacki finished second and Kamil Stoch was third.
President Andrzej Duda and PM Mateusz Morawiecki congratulated Kubacki on his victory, and Stoch on his third place.
"Warm congratulations and words of gratitude to Dawid Kubacki for his victory (...) and to Kamil Stoch for his third place. Congratulations to the entire team for their great jumps yesterday and today," President Duda wrote on Twitter.
"Two great jumps and we have the first World Cup victory claimed by a Pole this season. Congratulations also to Kamil Stoch," the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
