Poland's industrial production up y/y and m/m in June - stats office

Poland's industrial output grew by 0.5 percent year on year in June 2020, after a 17.0 percent decrease year on year in May, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

Month on month, industrial production rose by 13.9 percent in June after a 10.1 percent increase in May.

Economists polled by PAP expected June's industrial output to shrink by 6.5 percent year on year and to go up by 4.9 percent month on month.

June's seasonally adjusted industrial production index dropped by 4.9 percent year on year and increased by 9.7 percent month on month, GUS added.
