Poland's industrial production up in October - Eurostat
Poland's industrial production rose by 5.0 percent year on year in October 2018, after growing by 4.9 percent in September, the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, reported on Wednesday.
Industrial production in the eurozone rose by 1.2 percent year on year and by 0.2 percent month on month in October, Eurostat said.
According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland's industrial output rose by 7.4 percent year on year in October 2018, after a 2.8 percent increase year on year in September.
In month-on-month terms, industrial production went up by 9.9 percent after a 3.5 percent increase in September, GUS said.
Differences between GUS and Eurostat data may arise from the application of different calculation methods.
