Poland's industrial production up in November - Eurostat
Poland's industrial production rose by 5.6 percent year on year in November 2019, after growing 3.6 percent year on year in October, the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, reported on Wednesday.
Industrial production in the euro zone increased by 0.5 percent month on month in November and decreased by 0.9 m/m to the previous month, Eurostat said.
According to economists, industrial production was expected to go up by 0.3 percent month on month.
In annual terms, industrial output fell by 1.5 percent, against an expected 1-percent decrease.
According to the Polish Central Statistical Office, Poland's industrial production rose by 1.4 percent year on year in November 2019, and decreased by 5.8 percent month on month.
Differences between GUS and Eurostat data may arise from the application of different calculation methods.
