Poland's industrial production up in March - stats office

Poland's industrial output rose by 18.9 percent year on year in March 2021, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday.

Month on month, industrial production increased by 18.6 percent in March.

Economists polled by PAP expected March's industrial output to rise by 13.5 percent y/y and by 14.1 percent m/m.

The seasonally-adjusted industrial production went up by 15.7 percent year on year and by 2.3 percent month on month in March.

Industrial production prices went up by 3.9 percent y/y in March and grew by 1.3 percent m/m, GUS reported.

Economists surveyed by PAP expected producer prices to go down up by 3.4 percent y/y and to grow by 1.0 percent m/m.
