Poland's industrial production up in January - stats office
Poland's industrial output rose by 0.9 percent year on year in January 2021, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Thursday.
Month on month, industrial production fell by 5.1 percent in January.
Economists polled by PAP expected January's industrial output to rise by 0.6 percent y/y and to decrease by 5.4 percent m/m.
The seasonally-adjusted industrial production went up by 5.7 percent year on year and by 1.7 percent month on month in January.
Industrial production prices went up by 0.7 percent y/y in January and grew by 0.7 percent m/m, GUS reported.
Economists surveyed by PAP expected producer prices to go down up by 0.5 percent y/y and to grow by 0.5 m/m.
